I showed sneak peeks of these cards previously. Now for the big reveal.
Here is the first card we completed:
I cut the tree from the Fancy Frost Specialty paper and then colored it with Emerald Envy Ink using a sponge dauber. When using a sponge or sponge dauber, be sure to place your paper on top of a scrap paper and begin sponging the scrap paper and work your way onto the Fancy Frost paper in swirls. Otherwise you’ll leave a strong sponge shaped mark on your pretty tree.
This card came together pretty quickly once the pieces were cut.
Here is the second card we completed:
Aren’t the pinecones darling? Did I say that on the last card I used these on? Probably. LOL!
My tip for this card- Cut the suede layer to the measurements needed for the card, then center the sleigh when stamping and cutting. Then this layer can be used as a mat under the white layer. The white layer covers the negative space that has been cut away. How cool is that?! I discovered that by accident. How fortuitous!
The girls really enjoyed making these cards. I hope you enjoyed seeing them.
Have a cleverly creative day!
